SOM Produce is the leading Spanish company in the national market for theatrical and live entertainment.


With 4,700 seats across the Nuevo Alcalá, Rialto, Calderón, and Apolo Madrid theaters, it is the top company in terms of private theater seats managed in Spain, all of them located in Madrid.

With more than 1,000,000 tickets sold annually, it is the most significant national company in the production of musicals, including Sonrisas y Lágrimas, Priscilla Reina del Desierto, Cabaret, West Side Story, Billy Elliot, Grease, Matilda, Mamma Mia!, Chicago (in its 25th-anniversary production), and most recently The Book of Mormon, named the Best Musical of 2024. In October 2025, it will premiere for the first time in Spain one of the most internationally acclaimed musicals: WICKED, the untold story of the witches of Oz.

Among its various activities, it actively participates in theatrical co-productions, providing touring and distribution services for all types of shows across Spain.

With the launch of SOM Academy in 2020 and its participation in MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) since 2022, SOM stepped beyond its comfort zone, entering the market of high-level training with an official advanced center for dramatic arts education and into the creation, production, and exhibition of immersive content at Matadero Madrid.

With at least one new large-scale production every year, SOM Produce is the leading creator of new jobs in musical theater in Spain.
